Car #40 N. Al-Attiyah / G. Bernacchini: "Unfortunately I was slowed down by the dust from Neuville's car during the last stage. I lost 30 seconds or so".
Car #21 Prokop M. / J. Tomanek: "It is a very good race, I worked hard to improve my driving and my times are making it clear. Now we are waiting for the second loop on these stages, always very difficult".
Car #6 E. Evans / D. Barritt: "First two Special Stages have been very hard, then I am doing my best. I feel sorry for Hirvonen and for the team also".
Car #10 R. Kubica / M. Szczepaniak: "I set a very good time in the last Special Stage because I knew it very well. The race is still long. However, I am happy, even if my setup and tyre pressure were not good in the opening stage of the morning".
Car #20 H. Paddon / J. Kennard: "It is my first race here in Sardinia. I am discovering a very tough and hard rally and I am doing my best to make some experience. I think that stages could become even more tough in the afternoon".
Car #9 A. Mikkelsen / O. Floene: "No problems, I pushed really hard. For me it is all OK".
Car #7 T. Neuville / N. Gilsoul: "Suddenly the steering became too hard so I stopped in the stage trying to see what happened. It is a suspension issue. I did what I could so I am able to continue my race after the service".
Car #4 M. Ostberg / J. Andersson: "After the first stage we slightly changed our setup and our times improved immediately. I am happy with them and we are fighting for the lead".
Car #2 J.-M. Latvala / M. Anttila: "I had some brake issues, now solved, after the first stage. For that I had a little impact with the front of the car. The rest is OK, I set good times in last stages".
Car #1 - S. Ogier / J. Ingrassia: "Basically I'm happy but I could not do more because my starting position gives us a disadvantage. Frankly, I knew it would be tough. Now let's wait for the second loop. The problem is that I do not have enough grip and that can be seen from tires, which are less worn then expected. This evening it won't be easy because I have to pass on the lines of the other cars".
Car #33 - M. Rendina / M. Pizzuti: "I am not well. I am suffering a little temperature and conjunctivitis. I tried to take the first stage easy, then I set a good time in last one".
Car #16 - H. Solberg / L. Minor: "It is very tough, above all on tires. However, I am satisfied".
Car #37 - L. Bertelli / M. Dotta: "It is OK ,a part from first stage when I had a puncture. We haven't lost musc time, anyway. Then we were fast and very competitive but, on last stage, we were slowed down by the dust of Neuville's car, which was going slow". |
