Car #3 - K. Meeke / P. Nagle: "A lot more grip, we changed the setup in service. I could not enjoy it at all, it was not happening. I was braking too early, could not get the rhythm. This is good experience though".
Car #7 - T. Neuville / N. Gilsoul: "I think we have done very well especially in this stage. We have done some setup changes, I had quite a push in the end. We were unlucky yesterday, we had a small issue, but this is rally. The time is still good, we will see".
Car #22 - J. Melicharek / E. Melicharek: "OK I am learning the car, things are getting better and better stage after stage".
Car #12 - K. Al Qassimi / C. Patterson: "The second part of the stage had clean line, the team found some solutions for me to start enjoying it. I could have pushed more but then I backed off when I have seen the tires going".
Car #20 - H. Paddon / J. Kennard: Team decided to stop the car at mid-stage to prevent further damage to the engine.
Car #16 - H. Solberg / L. Minor: "It is a very very hard stage, but no problem. It is still very very slippery, struggling with grip in the corners. But very good day anyway".
Car #21 - M. Prokop / J. Tomanek: "It was a very good day but I had back pain and could not brake. Do not know what the problem is with my back, but it starts to be really bad. The stage was OK".
Car #6 - E. Evans / D. Barritt: "It is not being as exciting as yesterday when we manged to show good speed, but It felt, very very steady in there. But I didn't think it was relevant to take any risks. I'm happy to be through".
Car #9 - A. Mikkelsen / O. Floene: "After 3km in the previous stage I came out of the cliff we hit a massive rock very hard and we broke the damper, so we tried to be careful avoiding rocks. We have a big gap and I controlled it all the way. But anyway the fight for third is over, ah no it is not? OK we will take it as it comes. Always ready for a battle".
Car #4 - M. Ostberg / J. Andersson: "My stage was quite OK. We tried to do a clean run, difficult stage for sure but I think we managed quite well. I am prepared to defend the second place, I am very happy with today but we can push harder".
Car #1 - S. Ogier / J. Ingrassia: "No problem but the tire wear was high, it has been such a long stage. You can see the tires are really worn. Of course I eased it a bit when I learnt of Latvala´s problems".
Car #2 - J.-M. Latvala / M. Anttila: "That is my mistake, I hit a rock and had to change a tire. But we could have not fought for the victory as I had a problem with the brakes. It would have been impossible to fight for the victory. Let's see how it goes tomorrow, there is a chance for second maybe". |
